The Cat Empire have announced a show at Fremantle Prison on Saturday, April 22, 2023.
“Super excited to announce that we’ll be playing at Freo Prison in April,” they said on their Facebook page. “We’ll be playing a classic Cat Empire set plus a few brand new tracks with a very special line up.”
The Cat Empire last visited Western Australia in April when they performed at Red Hill Auditorium. The show was part of a final tour with their original line-up, with percussionist and frontman Felix Riebel and keys player Ollie McGill moving on as members of the band.
While their newly-announced show in Fremantle marks a new era for the group, they say fans can still expect all the good times they have come to expect from a Cat Empire live show, with “a host of new material from the band, as well as all the favourite songs fans know and love.”
