Teenage Jones and Between You & Me join forces for co-headline regional tour

Teenage Joans and Between You & Me are joining forces for a co-headline regional tour. The 1800-Painless tour includes 17 regional dates across the country, with Western Australian shows lined up at Indian Ocean Hotel, Scarborough, on Saturday, August 10, and Froth Craft Brewery, Bunbury, on Sunday, August 11.

“The Between You & Me x Teenage Joans tour is honestly so overdue,” said Teenage Joans upon revealing the news. “We are so keen to finally be on the road with our BYAM mates!”

“We cannot wait to get on the road with TJ’s, it’s been a long time coming, and now it’s finally happening,” added Between You & Me. “We are grabbing the sleeping bags and going regional, this tour is going to be in-tents but painless.”

Forming in 2018 as literal teenagers, Teenage Joans, aka Cahli Blakers and Tahlia Borg, came to national attention when they won the triple j Unearthed High crown in 2020. Having previously shared stages with the likes of Foo Fighters, Amy Shark, Violent Soho, Ball Park Music, The Chats and more, the duo have also continued to establish themselves as firm festival faves, with appearances at Spin Off, Yours & Ours, UNIFY Gathering and beyond.

Evolving from YouTube acoustic covers, Between You & Me blend influences that span blink-182, Foo Fighters and more. Their latest EP, SH!T YEAH, from earlier this year, follows on from two studio albums, 2018’s Everything Is Temporary and 2021’s Armageddon, as well as their 2016 debut EP Paper Thin.
