Snarski brothers join forces for Waiting for the Bell national tour

WA music legends Rob and Mark Snarski have reunited after decades under the moniker Snarski vs Snarski, unveiling their collaborative album Waiting for the Bell.

Their latest project blends nostalgia with fresh creative energy, or, as Mark describes, the album “crosses off the miles” between past and present, with tracks like Lay of the Land and You’ll See the Moon.

To celebrate the release, the Snarski brothers are embarking on an Australian tour. They will bring their new album, alongside selections from their individual catalogues to Lyric’s Underground with two intimate performances on Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22.

Rob and Mark Snarski first performed together in the 1980s as part of the band Chad’s Tree. Rob Snarski became best-known as the singer of The Blackeyed Susans and SnarskiCircusLindyBand while Mark Snarski was the singer-songwriter of The Jackson Code.

Surprisingly, Waiting For The Bell is the first release recorded under the moniker Snarski vs Snarski. On the record, Mark sings Rob’s and Rob sings Mark’s songs—from Chad’s Tree to The Jackson Code, Snarski & Luscombe, Nearly Brothers, So-Called Friends and their collected solo works.

Snarski vs Snarski play Lyric’s Underground on Friday, February 21, and Saturday, February 22, 2025. Waiting for the Bell is available to stream and purchase at robsnarski.bandcamp.com, with physical formats on CD and LP at robsnarski.com
