RTRFM’s Radiothon Party returns

RTRFM’s major fundraising campaign, Radiothon, is back in 2024 as the local community station celebrates its most important time of the year with a three-stage extravaganza at The Rechabite on Saturday, August 17.

In the Main Hall, catch a selection of some of the city’s finest acts, including Bribes, Hollow House, The Kill Devil Hills, RATSALAD and Villain.

Then stick around after midnight for the club and electronic live sounds of Myriad Sun and Sarco.

On the Hello Rooftop, RTRFM will be celebrating 10 years of Cloud Waves, the station’s modern rap and R&B show. The night will feature a collection of the show’s DJs and party starters, including ASLAN, Cee, Hyclass, Mowgli and Nafta.

Meanwhile, Perth dance collective Club V/A are taking over the Goodwill Club downstairs, bringing together a selection of local record labels and event labels, including Hyde Park Hi-Fi, Midnight Elevator, Mutual Affection and Terminal. Each will be bringing their community ethos to the party, with sets from Neesnu, Livvy Ratbag, and Screw Face plus the Club V/A DJs back to back.

Subscriptions, donations, and ticket sales to RTRFM during Radiothon are essential to raise funds for the ongoing operation of the station. Gold Subscribers and Companion Card Holders can enter the Radiothon Party for free.
