RTRFM unveils new online radio station

Perth community radio station RTRFM has unveiled a new chapter with the launch of its online station, RTR2.

Thanks to major updates from local web agency Start Digital, listeners can now easily tune into RTRFM live, restream, and explore their favourite shows and guest mixes. RTR2 offers on-demand listening with a diverse range of underground music, including new mixes, live sets, and archival recordings from the RTRFM vaults.

Through September and October, the station will highlight exclusive shows from its inaugural guest residents, including dance music label ONO Records; Lubly Dae (pictured) with First Nations DJs Yikes & 2Lubly; exploratory music curators Tone List; the queer dance music collective Double Happiness; experimental R&B band Superego; and electronica promoter Tripl0cate.

RTR2 will feature six rotating resident curators every two months, releasing new episodes at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays. The station will also debut its first T-shirt and a new merchandise line with Start Digital, featuring refreshed RTRFM branding.
