Rock ‘n’ roll legend Jon Spencer brings the hits to Australia

Rock ‘n’ roll legend Jon Spencer returns to Australia this year for the first time in a decade.

The singer kicks off his Australian tour at The Rechabite in Northbridge on Friday, September 26—with special support from Magic Dirt, Last Quokka and Lonesome Dove—before heading out to Wave Rock Weekender in Hyden on Saturday, September 27 to play alongside Drapht, Donny Benét, Freya Josephine Hollick and more.

Spencer and his band will then play Mojos Bar in Fremantle on Monday, September 29, with support from Datura4 and Dan Howls, before hitting the east coast.

The singer is accompanied by his new band, featuring bassist Kendall Wind and drummer Macky Spider Bowman. The shows will include songs from their new mini-LP, Sick of Being Sick!, as well as old fan favourites from his past groups, including Pussy Galore, Blues Explosion, Heavy Trash and the HITmakers.
