Red Hot Summer Tour turns up the heat with all-star Aussie lineup
Red Hot Summer Tour returns to Perth this year, bringing a selection of legendary Australian artists to Whitfords Nodes Park in Hillarys on Saturday, May 9.
Headlined by renowned singer-songwriter Paul Kelly, the outdoor festival will also feature performances by acclaimed musicians such as Missy Higgins, The Cruel Sea, The Cat Empire, Kasey Chambers, and Jess Hitchcock.
Best known for his singles To Her Door, From Little Things Big Things Grow and How to Make Gravy, Paul Kelly has had a career spanning over forty years, releasing 30 studio albums. “The band and I have many great memories from our last Red Hot Summer tour,” said Kelly. “We’re looking forward to making some new ones!”

Higgins was inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2024.
Genre-defying indie rockers The Cruel Sea saw success with their The Honeymoon Is Over album, which spent more than a year in the ARIA album chart in 1993, while the group’s other 90s records, This Is Not The Way Home and Three Legged Dog, also proved popular among audiences.
Australian jazz-funk band The Cat Empire have released ten studio albums, with their latest debuting at number two on the ARIA charts. The Cat Empire have performed internationally on stages in Europe, North America and the United Kingdom, including the iconic Glastonbury Festival.
Country artist Kasey Chambers has released thirteen studio albums in her over twenty-year career, with multiple reaching number one on the ARIA album charts.
Singer-songwriter Jess Hitchcock, who uniquely blends country, folk, pop and opera, will also be taking the stage with Paul Kelly, whilst also showcasing her own band and new music to start the event.
