Pop provocateur Peaches returns down under

Pop provocateur Peaches is returning down under this summer, performing in Auckland, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney before arriving at Metro City in Perth on Wednesday, January 20.

Touring in support of her latest album, No Lube So Rude, it will be the Canadian-born, Berlin-based artist’s first Australian visit since 2023. Fans can expect new material alongside iconic tracks including Fck the Pain Away*, Boys Wanna Be Her and more.

Her first album in more than a decade, No Lube So Rude is a brash, unapologetic fusion of electronic, dance, punk, industrial and pop. Across the album, Peaches tackles identity, sexuality, age and bodily autonomy, reaffirming her commitment to radical self-expression.

“I want people to understand that they can still have a voice no matter who they are or what the world says about them,” Peaches said of the album. “Now more than ever, there are so many forces that just want you to give up and be quiet. If this album can help you resist that, then that’s what it’s for.”

Peaches first burst onto the global music scene with her 2000 debut, The Teaches of Peaches, establishing herself as an unapologetic, provocative and boundary-pushing artist. Since then, she has released six albums, won the prestigious Polaris Heritage Prize, collaborated with artists like Iggy Pop and Yoko Ono while also dipping her toes into the worlds of film, theatre, opera and contemporary art.

Peaches’ No Lube So Rude tour hits Metro City on Wednesday, January 20, 2026. Tickets are on sale Friday, October 16 from untld.group/peaches
