The Perth Writers Festival Program will come to life at UWA (University of Western Australia) and State Theatre Centre of WA this February as part of the Perth International Arts Festival. The program will bring together over 100 celebrated writers, thinkers, artists and activists from around the globe to explore bold ideas and engage in events over four days.
The Program will run from February 23 to 26 and will feature opening addresses by writer Ben Lawrence (City of Thorns) and closing address by Syrian architect and memoirist Marwa al-Sabouni (The Battle for Home). The diversity of the programme is set to offer a unique experience which will explore everything from spoken word sessions to the magical world of Harry Potter which encourages patrons to dress up as their favourite Harry Potter character.
All session times and tickets are available from Perthfestival.com.au along with all the information regarding what the Perth Writers Festival has to offer. Information is also available from the Perth Writers Festival Facebook event and the official PIAF Facebook page which will keep you up to date, particularly if there are any changes or last minute additions to the festival.
