The season starts with An Unexpected Love, an Argentinian romantic comedy drama, about an empty nest couple experiencing a change in their relationship and a chance to explore a new life.
Across the next few weeks we will see Willem Dafoe as Vincent Van Gogh in At Eternity’s Gate, Mads Mikkelsen versus the icy tundra in Arctic, a documentary about guide dogs in Pick of the Litter, follow two mismatched lovers in a Europe torn asunder in Cold War, and catch the latest from directors Hirokazu Kore-eda (Shoplifters) and Ashgar Farhadi (Everybody Knows starring Penelope Cruz and Javier Bardem).
