It’s getting close to the end of the year but that doesn’t mean putting a halt on new music as there is plenty to be had. Melbourne born, New York based, singer/song writer Nick Murphy, formally known as Chet Faker, is set to release his second single Stop Me (Stop You) from his forthcoming album.

The name change has been a little confusing as it can often be a difficult to keep up with such a strong bold title of Chet Faker. Co-produced by Dave Harrington this 8 minute track has been described as two-in-one song deal which represents the good and bad from the past and present.

Having sold out shows across in New York, London and Los Angeles there is certainly of excitement in the air. Having a new name and music style can sometimes be a bit Russian roulette as it doesn’t go exactly to plan, however, in this case all appears incredibly positive and soon to be accompanied by many great things.

For more information on where you can catch Murphy on tour and festival appearance dates you can check the St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival 2017 or Murphy’s Facebook page.
