Metal legends Sepultura announce surprise Freo show

Sepultura are heading our way for a rare Perth show at Metropolis Fremantle on Sunday, November 26.

The visit coincides with Sepultura’s appearances at Good Things Festival in Auckland, Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, where they will be performing alongside Limp Bizkit, Devo, Pennywise and more.

With a stack of festival sideshows revealed today, Sepultura are the only band to announce a show in Western Australia.

For nearly 40 years now, Sepultura have been amongst the most revered and influential metal bands in the world. The Brazilian icons have remained at the very forefront of thrash metal since they released their legendary debut album Morbid Visions in 1986.

Now three albums deep into what may very well be their strongest incarnation yet – uniting the talents of old-school members Andreas Kisser (guitars, vocals) and Paulo Xisto Pinto Jr. (bass), Derrick Leon Green (vocals) and drummer Eloy Casagrande – Sepultura arrive armed with material from their mighty latest offering, Quadra, and decades of fan favourites.

Sepultura play Metropolis Fremantle on Sunday, November 26, 2023. Tickets are on sale Friday, October 20 from goodthingsfestival.com.au
