Man of a Thousand Faces unleash new single Persona Non Grata
Perth-based alt-rock band Man of a Thousand Faces will unleash their new single, Persona Non Grata, with a launch show at Lynott’s Lounge on Friday, February 20.
Known for their brooding atmosphere, emotionally charged songwriting and high-impact live shows, the nine-piece brings together musical talent from some of Perth’s best live acts.
Led by singer/songwriter Laith Tierney (The Bible Bashers, Fear of Comedy), the band features Ron Pollard (Tangled Thoughts of Leaving) on keys/synth, Jozef Grech (Datura4, Timothy Nelson Band) on guitar, Aidan Gordon (Rinehearts, Reductors) on guitar, Nathan Sproule (Ratking) on drums and percussion, Liam Adams (Fear of Comedy) on bass, Marc Osborne on alto sax, Matt Smith on trumpet, and Ned Holland on trombone.
Described as a perverse amalgamation of thriller jazz and avant-garde theatrical rock, Persona Non Grata is inspired by the detective thrillers and film noir movies of the 40s and 50s. It’s a tale of revenge gone wrong told from the perspective of a man on the wrong side of the law.
