Ladyhawke announces debut album 15th anniversary tour

Electro rock-pop synth artist Ladyhawke is celebrating the 15th anniversary of her self-titled debut album with an Australian tour, hitting Freo.Social on Saturday, July 27.

The artist behind Ladyhawke, Pip Brown, began her music career playing in Wellington band Two Lane Blacktop and Sydney act Teenager (formed by Nick Littlemore), before gaining global recognition with her debut self-titled album as Ladyhawke in 2008.

Boasting electro-pop gems My Delirium, Paris Is Burning, Dusk Till Dawn and more, the record made huge waves internationally with accolades including multiple ARIA and New Zealand Music Awards, along with nominations for BRIT, MTV, and NME Awards. This success propelled Ladyhawke on a global tour and festival performances at Big Day Out, Glastonbury, Splendour in the Grass and Laneway.

The album charted Top 20 across Europe, UK, Australia, and hit #1 in her home country, New Zealand.

Ladyhawke plays Freo.Social on Saturday, July 27, 2024. Tickets are on sale Thursday, April 18, from sbmpresents.com
