Jimmy Barnes returns to Aussie stages with The Defiant Tour

Jimmy Barnes is set to return to Perth this year, bringing his six-date Defiant Tour to Riverside Theatre on Sunday, June 18.

Barnes is touring in celebration of his 21st studio album, DEFIANT, which is out on Friday, June 6, via Mushroom Music.

“I’m really looking forward to getting back on stage with my band again,” Barnes said. “I’m so proud of this new record—all the songs mean a lot to me, and I can’t wait to share them with you. It’s going to be some serious fun!”

Having notched up an unprecedented 21 #1s on the Australian album charts (15 as a solo artist and six with Cold Chisel), The Defiant Tour follows Cold Chisel’s The Big Five-O anniversary 2024 tour, and sees Barnes hitting the road with his nine-piece band.

The first taste of the album is the double single New Day, including the accompanying music video directed by Paul van Kan starring Troy Cassar-Daley and Laurel Edwards, and Beyond the River Bend— inspired by the Barnes’ family home in the Southern Highlands of New South Wales.
