Immerse yourself in the stories that shaped our state at the Australian Heritage Festival
Australia’s biggest community-driven Heritage Festival kicks off today, with more than 100 events taking place across the state from Thursday, April 18 to Sunday, May 19.
Presented by the National Trust WA and supported by Lotterywest, the Australian Heritage Festival is both a celebration and reflection on the natural and cultural heritage of the state.
Australian Heritage Festival
Recognising the significance of the state’s natural, historic, built, and Aboriginal heritage, it aims to ensure these are valued by West Australians, protected for future generations, and cared for by the community.
The program features a multitude of free, family-friendly and all-ages events across four weeks. These events are designed to strengthen ties to our rich cultural and historical origins, forge new connections within our communities, and explore the diverse narratives that have shaped our state.
The Australian Heritage Festival runs across multiple venues and locations in Western Australia from Thursday, April 18 to Sunday, May 19, 2024. For more information head to ntwa.com.au
