Iconic Kimberley Festival Ord Valley Muster returns
Iconic Kimberley festival, the Boab Metals Ord Valley Muster, returns to Kununurra this year with a packed program of events across nine days, from Friday, May 17 to Saturday, May 25.
Held annually each May for the past 22 years, the ‘Muster’ kicks off the East Kimberley’s tourism season with everything from big concerts to station luncheons, laugh-out-loud comedy, Indigenous culture, arts, fashion and family-friendly festivities.
A highlight of the nine-day festival, the Nexus Airlines Kimberley Moon Experience, will feature live performances by The Screaming Jets, Rogue Traders, Sarah McLeod and Bob Evans on Saturday, May 18.
One of Australia’s hottest comedians and most likeable rogues, the Irish comic Jimeoin, is set to be another drawcard, bringing his new stand-up show The Craic to the festival on Wednesday, May 22. He will be joined on the night by comedians Daniel Connell, Ting Lim and Sian Choyce.
This year’s program also includes Art in the Park, 27 Club, Storytelling Night, Corroboree Under The Stars, the free Horizon Power Party in the Park and more.
