Grace returns to WA to launch her new single, Pluto, this Saturday, November 29, at Mojos.
Things have moved on a little since X-Press last interviewed Grace Woodroofe about 18 months ago.
Now performing more singularly as Grace, the singer/songwriter has a new single, Pluto, out now and has strong plans for the year ahead.
“Since we last spoke I’ve been spending a lot of time in the States writing and recording with some incredible producers – Dave Sitek (TV on the Radio), Sam Spiegel (Yeah Yeah Yeahs) and Patrick Wimberley, for example,” she reveals. “I’ve also been working with Dann Hume (Alpine) while I’ve been in Australia.
“There’s been a huge amount of growth between now and my first record. I’ve been experimenting with different methods of creation and pushing myself out of my comfort zone, which has been the best thing for my music and also personally. Pluto was one of the first tracks written on this new sonic path and it just goes deeper from there. Next year more will be revealed with the EP and album.”
