Foo Fighters Take Cover with massive national tour
American rock legends Foo Fighters are set to make their hugely anticipated return to Australia, with their Take Cover Tour hitting stadiums across the country next summer.
The 15-time Grammy Award winners will bring their new tour to Brisbane, Townsville, Sydney, Newcastle, Melbourne and Adelaide before wrapping up the tour at HBF Park on Monday, January 25, 2027.
The rock six-piece are also set to be joined onstage by Perth rockers Southern River Band and garage punks Last Quokka.
The band’s stadium tour marks their fifteenth visit to Australia, celebrating a major chapter in the band’s ongoing global touring legacy.
Fans can expect to hear new tracks from Foo Fighters’ unreleased twelfth studio album onstage, with the new album teased for release later this year, as well as their hit tracks Everlong, Best of You, Learn to Fly, My Hero and The Pretender.
Foo Fighters last hit Australian shores in November and December 2023, where they played a sold-out show at HBF Park in celebration of their 11th studio album, But Here We Are.
Formed in Seattle in 1994, Foo Fighters have built a legacy of marathon sets and career-spanning performances. Across their eleven-album discography, the band has achieved nine #1 albums to date, and has sold over 1.8 million records in Australia alone.
Consisting of Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Chris Shiflett, Pat Smear, Rami Jaffee and Ilan Rubin, the band was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2021 and has secured festival slots at Glastonbury, Reading and Leeds Festival, Big Day Out and V Festival.
