Attempting to make sense of the unexplainable.
What cannot be touched, only felt from beyond the veil.
We avoid, hide, ward, protect cleanse, to assuage our fears.
Passing through walls, time, generations.
Join us this April for a free month of arts programming at the nest of creativity, ROOK ARI, when we hold our latest exhibition of new challenging and exciting artwork created by our talented studio artists centered around the theme of superstition, inside our expansive warehouse space. This event is created with support from the Town of Victoria Park for their Arts Month program for our third year together.
This event begins with an Opening Night Event (18+) that expands the exhibition with light projections, live music from Lowmass, selections from ROOK ARI DJs and a pop-up shop featuring art, jewellery, trinkets, zines and more; all handmade by our studio artists.
An Open Studio date caps off the event for fellow creatives and the curious; our studios will be open to the public for a chance to explore our space, meet the artists, get insight on arts practice, see works-in-progress and have a chat in a casual setting.
Join us in ritual this April for SUPERSTITION
