In the isolated and desolate Antarctic wilderness, a group of scientists are infiltrated by a mysterious lifeform that can perfectly mimic any living being it consumes. As they struggle to determine who amongst them may have been replaced by the Thing, paranoia, mistrust and hostility begins to grow between the men trapped in the icy, windswept compound.
