Metal United Down Under 2025 – One Night, One Banner, One Scene!
The Australian heavy metal scene unites once again as Metal United Down Under (MUDU) returns for its 11th year of celebrating the raw power of homegrown metal. This year, MUDU will take place across multiple cities in Australia on Saturday, April 26, 2025, showcasing the incredible talent found within our heavy music community.
The 2025 artwork, crafted by the talented Damn Fabris from God-Awful, embodies the energy of Australia’s unique heavy metal culture, where raw and dark aesthetics often meld with tongue-in-cheek humour. This year’s graphic puts a metal spin on the nationally loved and celebrated tradition of the Bunnings Sausage Sizzle, capturing the spirit of MUDU with a bold and unforgettable edge.
Michael Lueders, founder of MUDU and the force behind Black-Roos Entertainment, reflects on the event’s core mission:
“MUDU is all about both the music lovers and the bands celebrating their day for what metal is: hanging out with their metal brothers and sisters for a good time with great music and company! Uniting our local metal communities, working together – not against each other – with the aim of creating the strongest music scene possible!”
