Start your Saturday with great coffee, fresh air and contemporary jazz from emerging WA musicians Tom Hopwood and Finn McKibbin.

Influenced by modern jazz greats including Kurt Rosenwinkel and Lage Lund, the duo blend fluid improvisation, laid-back grooves and soulful melodies to create a sound that is both relaxed and expressive. Expect modern jazz standards, original compositions and engaging musical interplay from two rising talents in Perth’s jazz scene.

Set in Livid Laneway (or inside Livid Skate Café if the weather is unkind) this easy-going session is all about settling in and soaking up the atmosphere in one of JazzConnect’s most unique festival settings.
