Ella Monaghan is excited to present her first show at the Ellington after recently graduating from WAAPA with a Bachelor of Music Honours. Inspired by her Honours thesis, Ella will combine her two favourite genres and sing Broadway tunes arranged for a jazz quartet. Consisting of Golden Age classics, as well as modern Broadway favourites, this show is sure to appeal. With a voice that has been described as “sweet” and “nostaligic”, as well as her experience as both a jazz and musical theatre performer, Ella hopes to bring a unique side to each genre and take the audience on a musical journey.
