Settle into a relaxed afternoon of contemporary jazz with the Harry Mitchell Trio.

Led by acclaimed pianist and composer Harry Mitchell, the trio features Karl Florisson on bass and Bronton Ainsworth on drums. Known for their sophisticated modern jazz sound, they blend lyrical improvisation, rich harmonies and dynamic interplay with influences from contemporary Australian jazz and European-style piano trios.

A prolific recording artist and winner of the Australian Bell Award for Young Australian Jazz Musician of the Year, Mitchell has performed with artists including Charlie Watts, Kate Ceberano, Veronica Swift and George Garzone. Expect expressive original compositions and fresh interpretations from one of Australia’s most respected jazz pianists.
