First hitting the stage in 2002, From The Ruins are a straight up hardcore band that have always played it heavy. Influenced by the bands that they themselves loved to listen to and committing to always writing about real issues that mattered to them, FTR have stayed the path of no frills and in-your-face heavy.
After releasing an EP, two albums and numerous interstate tours, FTR played their last show as a fulltime band in April 2007.
After performances at Slayfest in 2018 and SuperBrawl in 2023 all the members felt the itch again. Rehearsals continued and writing of new material began.
From The Ruins are back. This isn’t a reunion band, and this isn’t for nostalgia.
It’s time to open up the pit again, it’s time for FTR and their fans to come Home.
