One of Australia’s finest guitarists and singer-songwriters, Ashley Naylor, returns to Perth to play an intimate solo show for the first time in many years.
As the newest member of Australian music legends The Church, Ashley has recently returned to Australia following a 19-show North American co-headline tour with the Afghan Whigs.
2024 is shaping up to be one of Ashley’s busiest years ever, and he will be touring with The Stems on the Australian leg of their 40th anniversary tour, before heading to Europe with The Stems to continue the celebrations in Italy and Spain.
After that, he’ll be joining longtime friends in the RocKwiz Orkestra for numerous shows around Australia, before The Church embark on ‘The Already Yesterday Tour’ around Australia (including the Astor Theatre, Perth on 5 December).
As the singer, songwriter and guitarist of eight studio albums with acclaimed indie rock trio EVEN, and having recently released his fourth solo album ‘Soundtracks Volume 2’ in late 2023, Ashley is one of Australia’s most accomplished musicians. Let’s not forget that he has played lead guitar with Paul Kelly for close to 20 years, and recorded or played with numerous other artists such as Bob Evans, Kim Salmon and Vika & Linda Bull.
An Ashley Naylor solo show is a treat for music lovers and guitar aficionados alike, with many familiar songs and plenty of surprises.
With heavy touring commitments there is no scope for a further show, and like all of Ashley’s solo shows, this will surely be a night to remember.
