Entwined in the Swan Valley to showcase the best of Perth in spring
The Swan Valley is bringing back its spring celebrations with Entwined in the Valley this October and November.
Running from Friday, October 24, to Sunday, November 16, the 24-day program features a vibrant mix of events—from hands-on masterclasses to live music, high teas and indulgent dining experiences.
For the first time, the festival will launch with a special event, Valley to the City, at Elizabeth Quay on Friday, October 24. This unique evening will bring the tastes, textures and creativity of the Swan Valley to the heart of Perth, complete with cooking demonstrations, local produce, tastings, artisan goods, Q&A sessions with Swan Valley winemakers, plus acrobatic and fire performances.
Festival highlights include The Long Table Lunch at Bailey Brewing Co., where guests can enjoy a three-course feast with bottomless beverages and live entertainment. The European Food and Entertainment Festival at Baba and Didas will showcase the flavours of Europe through delicious dishes and lively performances.
Pinelli Estate Winery and Restaurant will present Tastes and Sounds of the Vineyard—a laid-back evening pairing soft rhythms with fine local wines. Meanwhile, Rose Lane will unveil its new cocktail bar with a Pan-Asian dim sum cocktail party set to DJ beats.
At Swan Settlers Market, line dancing promises a fun, boot-scootin’ good time, while the Valley Social Herbee Range Tasting and Spring BBQ offers local flavours and live music.
Workshops across the festival give visitors the chance to learn skills like beekeeping, gnocchi and pesto making, gin blending, and crafting sparkling wine, chocolate, pizza, beer and more.
Other standout events include Makers Field Day, a one-day celebration of local makers and growers with tastings, workshops and long-table feasting, and Brews Brains Banter—a night of wit and laughter hosted by award-winning comedian Daniel Delby at Chapel Farm.
The festivities will close with a bang as Ivory Rivalry takes over Collector of Souls, delivering a high-energy performance where two virtuoso pianists and a powerhouse drummer transform beloved classics into electrifying mashups.
