Dirty Three make long-awaited return to WA

Five years after their last Australian visit and an even longer 12-years since their last visit to Western Australia, Dirty Three are returning to Perth this winter.

The instrumental trio, made up of Warren Ellis, Mick Turner, and Jim White, will perform at the Fremantle Passenger Terminal on Saturday, June 22.

Presented by Fremantle Arts Centre, the show is part of a national tour with ten dates across the country in June.

Fans can look forward to hearing new material from the band’s first album in over a decade, with their new record Love Changes Everything due for release on Friday, June 14.

“Recorded in five days. Mixed in a year. Nothing has changed,” said Warren Ellis about the new record. “Older and meaner, sadder, and totally dangerous. Dirty Three are 32 years old. Come blow out the candles and help us stick a knife in the cake.”

Dirty Three’s new album Love Changes Everything is out on Friday, June 14, 2024. Dirty Three play Fremantle Passenger Terminal on Saturday, June 22. Tickets are on sale now from oztix.com.au
