Deborah Conway and Willy Zygier have announced that to celebrate the recent release of their studio album, The Words of Men, as well as the 25th anniversary of their first musical collaboration, they will be touring nationally, stopping by the Astor Theatre on Thursday, May 23, Mandurah Performing Arts Centre on Friday, May 24 and the Queens Park Theatre in Geraldton on Saturday, May 25.
The Words of Men features songs of personal, cultural & political observation and reflects one of the most creative bursts in their renowned 27 year collaboration, traversing a wide range of themes.
2019 also marks the 25th anniversary of their hit album and first musical collaboration Bitch Epic featuring the single Alive & Brilliant. “I still love playing this song, it has a compelling urgency & fury to it that remains undiminished 26 years after we wrote it,” says Deborah of the hit single.
