Dear Seattle come out to play with national TOY album tour
Following the release of their ARIA #1 album TOY, Sydney indie rockers Dear Seattle have announced a national tour kicking off at Rosemount Hotel on Thursday, May 8.
Released on Sunday, January 5, TOY features the singles Evergreen, Say What You Want, and Counting Hours, and racked up 50,000 streams on Spotify alone upon release day. Their third studio album to date, TOY was the only Australian-made album in the ARIA Top 50 on release week.
“We’ve been putting in the hard yards to ensure this tour is the absolute best you’ve ever seen from DS,” the band said. “We want to push the boundaries of what we’ve done in the past and make this album tour the most memorable one yet. We can’t wait to see you there!”
Dear Seattle will be joined by Cleveland, Ohio punk rock group, Heart Attack Man. Since 2014, the band has defined their style of music by sharp and poignant lyricism, with their third album, Freak Of Nature, released in 2023.
Also joining Dear Seattle on their latest national run will be Adelaide pop-punk duo Towns, who have evolved their 90s pop and rock sound since 2018, with their debut album, sentimental slowdown, released last year.
Dear Seattle’s TOY national album tour hits Rosemount Hotel on Thursday, May 8, 2025. Tickets are on sale now from destroyalllines.com
