Calida Sari releases new single Searching ahead of debut album

Boorloo alt-country singer Calida Sari has revealed another taste of her upcoming debut album, Songs for the Invisible, out on Wednesday, December 16, with the new single Searching.

Released during ADHD Awareness Month and Invisible Disabilities Week, Searching draws on the everyday frustrations of ADHD with humour and humanity.

Blending contemporary folk, Americana and alt-country, the album will explore themes of pain, trauma, grief, identity and resilience based on lived experiences of chronic illness, acquired disability and neurodivergence.

Substantially created in WA, Songs for the Invisible was co-mixed by Sari and Ben Hoare, with the track Surviving mixed by Anthony Jackson (X-Press Magazine, Will Stoker & the Embers), and the complete album mastered by Adrian Sardi.

The project has also attracted disability-focused media interest, including interviews with 3CR’s The Boldness and Brainwaves, SYN’s Raise the Platform, The Pulse’s Able to Be, the UK’s Cool and Chronic Podcast and US-based Invisible Not Broken.

The new single follows the release of But, I’ll Stay, which captures the physical and emotional realities of chronic pain, and Not Today, Satan, which reached #12 on the Local Sounds Trending Chart.

Calida Sari’s newest single, Searching, is out now. Songs for the Invisible out on Wednesday, December 16, 2026.
