Blues at Bridgetown release second artist announcement

Blues at Bridgetown has announced the second round of artists who will perform at the festival from Friday, November 8, to Sunday, November 10.

Indie four-piece Death By Denim are an exciting new addition to the line-up, returning to Australia following a UK tour celebrating their latest album, Lonely Beaches. The new record follows on from the successful releases of Sleepless, Sunkissed (2020), and Moonbow (2022) for the local act.

Western Australian singer-songwriter Toby Beard is also on board to captivate the Bridgetown crowd with her dynamic presence. As an artist, her touring schedule spans sold-out shows, festivals, and intimate venues, where her vocal skill and lyrical talent offer fans a unique and memorable experience.

Melbourne-based singer-songwriter ISHAN will also grace the Bridgetown stage. Born in France, he began playing guitar at age seven and started songwriting at age 15 during his recovery from spinal fusion surgery. He honed his skills through busking and live looping on Melbourne’s streets, sharing his performances online. His debut EP, The Cycle of Codependence, released last year, has drawn praise from industry tastemakers like Rolling Stone, triple j Unearthed, and Tone Deaf.

The Bad Dad Orchestra, born from a simple idea of friendship, beers, and fatherhood, stands out for their big grooves and distinctive style—the only requirement to join is that you need to be a dad. Now, with nine fathers and counting, the group has made a significant impact on the Tasmanian music scene over the past decade.

Also joining the line-up this year will be Adam-James, Angie Colman, Charlie Youngson, Dan Howls, Kiera Jas, Legs Electric, Mossy Fogg, Odlaw, Tracey Barnett, The Winfield Blues Band and WhiskeyNips.

These acts join the line-up with previously announced artists John Butler, Dave Hole, South Summit, Little Quirks, Owen Campbell, Little Green, Checkerboard Lounge, Siobhan Cotchin, Smoke Stack Rhino, Frank Sultana, Laurel & The Painkillers, Louis Rebeiro & The Blues Machine, Boox Kid, The Floors, Joan & The Giants, Tom Fisher & The Layabouts, Brandie & Wise Trio, Rochelle O’Reilly, Whiskey Nips, Alexia Parenzee and Pat Tierney, with more to be announced soon.
