Billy Talent’s final show of their Australian tour promoting their new album, Afraid of Heights at Perth’s Capitol tonight has been cancelled due to illness. The Canadian Punk-Rockers took to Facebook after their show in Adelaide, apologising to fans for not delivering “the full Billy Talent experience” due to the band being flu ridden. Adding, “We tried our best; but want you to know that we will be back and when we do we’re going to make it up to you somehow. Keep your ticket stubs, they may come in handy,” Billy Talent said.
Not long after the band added, “Extremely gutted to have to do this but due to illness we will have to regrettably cancel our show tonight in Perth,” cancelling tonight’s Perth and final show at Capitol.
Promoter Destroy All Lines also posted via Social Media, “Extremely gutted to have to do this but due to illness we will have to regrettably cancel our show tonight in Perth. All tickets purchased will be refunded. Promise that we will make it up to you. Thank you for your understanding.”
