Belle and Sebastian announce Australian tour celebrating 30 years of If You’re Feeling Sinister

Beloved Scottish indie pop group Belle and Sebastian have announced their return to Australia to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their seminal album If You’re Feeling Sinister.

The seven-piece are set to perform at Astor Theatre on Friday, September 18, in what will be a night full of fan favourites from their stellar catalogue.

Formed in 1996, Belle and Sebastian helped define a generation of indie pop with their quietly radical sound. Considered pioneers of the ‘twee pop’ genre, the band became known for their charming, nostalgic sound, 60s-inspired arrangements, and frontman Stuart Murdoch’s introspective lyrics.
