After her previously-announced Australian tour was postponed due to COVID, Belinda Carlisle has announced a new run of dates for her The Decades tour – and this time there’s a Perth show included! The international hitmaker will perform at Astor Theatre on Tuesday, November 14, 2023.
Belinda Carlisle gained worldwide recognition as the lead vocalist of the most successful all-female band The Go-Go’s. They made history as the first all-female music group to write their own songs and play their own instruments to top the Billboard Charts. As part of The Go-Go’s, Belinda Carlisle sold more than seven million albums with such hits as Our Lips Are Sealed, We Got The Beat, Vacation, Head Over Heels, Can’t Stop The World and many others.
After the band’s break-up Belinda Carlisle embarked on a successful solo career that spawned massive hits such as Mad About You, I Get Weak and Heaven Is A Place On Earth from the worldwide album Heaven On Earth, which hit number one on both U.S and U.K charts.
The hits keep coming with the release of her 1989 Album Runaway Horse, which boasted the Top 10 hits Leave A Light On and Summer Rain. Belinda Carlisle continued to produce hits which included the No.1 classic In Too Deep proving she has real longevity in the Worldwide Pop Scene.
