Australian rapper Allday has announced that to celebrate the release of his upcoming album, Starry Night Over The Phone (expected July), he will stop by Metro City on Saturday, August 17.
The tour will include some huge support acts, with Allday bringing along Mallrat, E^ST and JXN for the ride. The tour announce comes alongside the release of new track Lungs, a harder moment than the previous two tracks released, Wonder Drug and Protection.
It’s been a busy few years for the Adelaide-raised artist, his debut album Startup Cult came in at number three on the ARIA Charts and it’s follow up Speeding landed a number six debut plus an Air Award nomination. He has three Gold ARIA certifications for his singles You Always Know the DJ and In Motion ft. Japanese Wallpaper, and debut EP Loners Are Cool.
A collaboration with long-time friend Mallrat on her hugely successful single UFO has racked up over 14 million streams, and came in at #70 in the triple j Hottest 100 of 2018.
Lungs is out now. Allday plays Metro City with Mallrat, E^ST and JXN on Saturday, August 17. Tickets on sale May 21.
