ABOUT PEOPLE TAKING PICTURES
With psychedelic music at its core, People Taking Pictures (PTP) is a genre blending project, gathering multiple elements of alternative rock, indie, hip-hop, sampling, jazz and electronic music. The project was initially formed in 2019 as the solo endeavor of Luke Parish, better known for his work with Perth based and riff driven alt rock band Psychedelic Porn Crumpets.
Collaborations across three full length albums have seen features from Perth Mcs Mali Jose, POW! Negro (Superego, Myriad Sun) and Cruz Patterson (Koi Child). With a newly formed 6 piece live band and the 4th album nearing completion, 2025 is set to be another big year for PTP.

ABOUT MALI JO$E
MALI JO$E is enjoying a breakout 2024, with his acclaimed mixtape El Niño, collabs with New Jersey Rapper Sol ChYld & Dugong Jr (via Majestic Casual), national brand campaign for the Adidas ‘SPEZIAL’ sneaker, and launching his first vinyl for his EP ‘BREEZECATCHER’.
Following his debut national tour, playing SXSW Sydney, and winning WAM award for ‘Best Hip Hop Act’, the Fremantle prodigy continues his rise supporting Black Milk, Larry June & The Pharcyde, featuring on Triple J ‘Bars of Steel’, receiving cosigns from US critics Anthony Fantano & Ebro and working with Mick Jenkins, Sol ChYld, Kobie Dee & Tasman Keith.
