In the Pines 2024 line-up revealed
RTRFM has revealed the line-up for In the Pines 2024, as the local music festival returns to UWA’s Somerville Auditorium on Sunday, April 21.
Now in its 31st consecutive year, twenty hand-picked local artists will play across two stages inside the Somerville, while eight DJs will be on the decks on Riley Oval next door.
This year’s line-up features some of the state’s most promising new acts, including Ruby Pettit, Paint, The Krui3ers and TAB Family, plus longtime faves Boox Kid, Butter, De Cuba Son and Odlaw.
Things are set to get a bit loud with Cold Meat, Gaoled, Suneater and Dennis Cometti, and a little experimental and ambient with Corella Saxophone Quartet, Heathcote Blue, Hector Morlet and Echo Omen. The event will also feature sets from party-starters Randa and the Soul Kingdom, Rat Columns, Didion’s Bible and SUPEREGO.
On Riley Oval, catch some of the city’s best selectors, including Alana Joy, Cooper Cooper x Nicole Filev, Ernest & Young, Livvy Ratbag x Ornette Coolman and YESNA.
In The Pines is more than simply a day of music. There will be food trucks and coffee from Murphy’s Spuds, Chubby Dumplings, Charlie’s Pizza, Tommy’s Tacos and Baked and Loaded, as well as drinks from Whitelakes Brewing Co, Shelter Brewing, Vino Volta, Whipper Snapper, Kimberley Rum Company and Little Things Gin.
In 2024 RTRFM will also introduce a new ‘sensory zone’ in collaboration with Enable WA, a space for neurodivergent punters and those who need a break from the noise to chill out.
The station will also be broadcasting all the happenings live on the radio from 11:30am to 10pm at 92.1FM, and digitally and online at rtrfm.com.au
