Presenting 20 new songs as sheet music was a bold move for experimental pop musician Beck, but his 2012 Song Reader project has finally borne recorded fruit. With friends like Norah Jones, Laura Marling, Jarvis Cocker and Jack White, the recently released Song Reader album is a chance to see Beck in action as a straight-up songwriter.
