September Sun will follow up previous single One More Day with their debut EP Of A Feather, to be launched this Friday, March 24 at Four5Nine bar at the Rosemount Hotel with support from Dylan McCoy, The Limbs, The Milkmen and Foxton Kings.
The EP was recorded throughout 2016 with the help of Andy Lawson at Debaser Studios and cut back from their original 20 tracks to create a final seven-track EP.
Dark, uplifting and wild, the band ponders themes of reality, perception, society and how we fit into the crux of life.
Singer Peter Knott says, “It takes time to write a good track and we wanted to give it just that. Lyrically I feel it’s quite deep and very personal to me. In a way its therapeutic, as music and poetry is my way of expressing my emotions and connections to the magnificent and wacky world we live in.”
