PERTH FESTIVAL LOTTERYWEST FILMS Take two

February 12 sees the launch of Lotterywest Films: Season Two at the UWA Somerville and ECU Joondalup Pines. It continues Perth Festival’s globe-crossing tour of films, this time taking us to Africa, Europe and Asia.

Season two launches with the documentary GurrumulĀ (pictured), which is a celebration of the life and career of the Yolngu musician. Across the following weeks we will see a surreal look at Israeli military life in Foxtrot, a glimpse inside the Zambian witch camps in I Am Not A Witch, the gentle Thai amble of Pop Aye, a tale of Oregon horse trainers in Lean On Pete, and more.
