JOEL CREASY From Eurovision to the Astor

Fresh from hosting SBS’s coverage of Eurovision, Joel Creasey is heading back home to WA with a brand-new hour of stand-up called Poser.

Now due to popular demand, his two shows on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24  at the Astor Theatre have been joined by a third show on Sunday, June 25 at the same venue. Talk about local lad done good.

In 2016 Joel charged on to stages across the country for sold out shows and to rave reviews. In between whoring himself across Australian TV screens from deep within the African jungle to comedy galas, he managed to squeeze in packed houses for his stand-up in New York, Montreal and LA.  Most recently Joel was crowned Comedian of the Year at the GQ Men of the Year Awards, after losing on an episode of All Star Family Feud. Swings and roundabouts!

The 26-year-old one time Wesley College student has cemented a reputation for slicing, dicing and smashing through celebrity and pop culture, and himself, with unflinching candour and brutal home truths.

There is a reason the Queen of Comedy herself, Joan Rivers, dubbed him “a f*cking star”. Take the late, great comedy icon’s lead and book your ticket now.

Joel Creasey’s Poser plays the Astor Theatre on Friday, June 23 and Saturday, June 24, with a new show just announced on Sunday, June 25. Tickets from www.livenation.com.au.
