GOLDEN DAYS Celebrating RTRFM’s Sunday shows

RTRFM is heading to Fremantle’s newest oldest venue Freo.Social for a special celebration of their Sunday programming, in particular stalwart show Sunday Morning Coming Down, on Saturday, May 18.

Golden Days kicks off from 4pm with the Golden Apples of the Sun DJs (Jemima Dove, Lady Raine and Em Burrows) doing a free afternoon set in the beer garden, before James A and Dave Clarke from Giant Steps step up to the decks. Then catch The Money War (pictured) and Jacob Diamond in the beer garden between the team from Sunday Morning Coming Down who are taking their show on the road with a special one-off DJ set.

Inside you can catch the jangly pop sounds of The Beautiful Losers, and the otherworldly vibes of The Praashekh Quartet, which is Mark Cain’s brand new project. Plus, you’ll see the return of Mambo Chic with their French-inspired avant-garde pop tunes led by the brilliant Geraldine Ray, and the harmonics of The Holy Smoke.

Also, see a very rare performance from Trisk featuring Optamus. The brainchild of Daniel Susnjar, Trisk is a jazz band with a difference and with Downsyde’s Optamus on the rhymes, they are not to be missed. Then, Randa and the Soul Kingdom will close the show in full band mode.

Celebrate Sunday Morning Coming Down with RTRFM at Golden Days on Saturday, May 18 at Freo.Social. Tickets on sale now.
