Luxe Bar and Luna Palace are heading back to the ’50s and the days of the old Picture Gardens when the bamBOO space behind the cocktail lounge, Luxe Bar, transforms itself into an outdoor cinema starting Wednesday, December 18. Showing art house, repertory and new films in the outdoor amphitheatre, the bamBOO Outdoor Cinema will be the only cinema operating on Beaufort Street since the Astor ceased screening films in 2008.
