Castles, the latest track from Perth dance-rock outfit, Casino Sunrise, gets cut loose today.
Lock these four Perth musicians in a studio (which is difficult due to the fact drummer and WAMI award winning engineer Adam Round is off touring the world with bands Pond, Drapht & The Growl) and you can guarantee a wild time, but the end result is always a polished and catchy banger. The latest single Castles is no exception to this rule. The song captures Justin Campbell’s go-to Juno synth sound, Anthony Jackson’s pulsing bass lines, Justin Story’s “Nile Rodgers” inspired guitar riff, disco beats and a massive drum break down from Adam Round. The chorus melody is so infectious it will stick with you for days. Keep an eye on Casino Sunrise this year as an EP is in the mix and their energetic live show is a party in itself.
