Has it really been nine years since Robert Rodriguez (with one-time genius/fulltime right wing loon Frank Miller) brought the ultra-violent comic book noir, Sin City, to the big screen? Does that also mean it’s been nine years since Mickey Rourke’s clearly abortive comeback? Whatever, we’re now getting a sequel, with the likes of Josh Brolin, Eva Green, Marton Csokas, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Dennis Haysbert joining the originals cast of hard men and dangerous dames.
