AWESOME FESTIVAL 2020 Fun times ahead

The 2020 AWESOME International Arts Festival For Bright Young Things (the AWESOME Festival) will be kicking off at the Perth Cultural Centre from September 28 to October 4. 

Committed to presenting high-quality, layered programming for children and their families, the AWESOME Festival showcases a spectacular array of events every year in Perth’s CBD, including theatre, dance, early childhood activities, music, film, literature, visual arts, and creative hands-on activities.

The headline acts for the 2020 AWESOME Festival include The Adventures of Snugglepot and Cuddlepie by West Australian Ballet, Valentineby Rachael Woodward, The Nightingale by West Australian OperaThe Pigeon and The Albatross by Australian Baroque CompanyWhoosh! by Sensorium Theatre,Mountain Goat Mountain by Threshold and A Piece of You by Greg Sinclair.

There will be plenty of workshops, book launches, free play, and pop-up activities to enjoy, such as the Backyard Book Fair which will showcase 12 of WA’s best and brightest authors and illustrators, where each presenter will have seven minutes to wow you with their awesomeness in a fast-paced show that includes a hilarious illustrator duel.
