Sheppard bring it home with ZORA Live Australia Tour

Australian pop sensations Sheppard will bring their ZORA Australian Live Tour to 11 venues across the country this year. The tour arrives in Western Australia for a show at Perth’s Astor Theatre on Tuesday, October 29.

This tour marks a long-awaited return for the Brisbane-based band, who are celebrating their fourth studio album, ZORA, which recently reached #1 on the ARIA charts. The band, currently based in Nashville, are best known for their 2014 hit Geronimo, which has now surpassed one billion streams.

“We knew that fans back here at home have been waiting for us to return from Nashville to tour again,” the band shared. “There is no better feeling than being onstage here in Australia and watching our fans turn the show into a massive party.”

Sheppard will be joined on tour by multi-platinum dance music artist Jolyon Petch, who will open all headline shows. Petch has achieved eleven #1 singles on the ARIA Club Charts and is known for his rework of Fleetwood Mac’s Dreams, which garnered over 40 million streams.

ZORA, the band’s first album since 2021, features 16 tracks that explore themes of resilience, hope, despair, and strength. “The album revolves around the rejuvenating nature of light and that no matter how dark life at times can feel, a new sunrise is just around the corner. Throughout any family ordeal or crisis—which no doubt every family goes through—we constantly look up to our Croatian Baba (grandma), whose name is Zora,” band frontman George Sheppard explained.
