Neomantra usher in Paranosis era with new single Astral Prison

Local post doom-metal band Neomantra have announced their second EP, Paranosis, is out on Friday, September 27. The four-piece will celebrate the release with a live launch at Rosemount Hotel on Friday, October 11, with support from fellow Perth heavies Scalphunter, King Zog, Twin Serpents and Halo of Teeth.

The follow-up to their five-track EP Henosis from 2021, the new EP Paranosis was produced and engineered by Chad Blondel at Foxhole Recording Studios and mastered by Forrester Savell, with additional creative inputs from Karnivool’s Drew Goddard.

The EP news arrives along with the release of its first single, Astral Prison, which features Neomantra’s signature heavy doomsday guitar, primal vocals, animalistic drums and raw emotion.
